Tampon Halloween Hobgoblins
Tampons of Terror? We know some people have a fear of menstrual products, but these Halloween creations are more cuddly than blood-curdling.
Tampon Ghosts

Materials
- Playtex tampons with plastic applicators, or similar type
- Hot glue gun or white glue
- Wiggly eyes
Instructions
Remove Playtex tampon from applicator. Insert finger in "open" end and flare edges out slightly.

Use glue gun or white glue to attach wiggly eyes and Hang by tampon string.

Tampon Bat

Materials
- Playtex tampon with plastic applicator
- Hot glue gun
- Utility knife
- Scissors
- Acrylic paints and small paintbrushes
- Acrylic sealant spray
- Black spray paint
- Black pipe cleaners
Instructions
Remove Playtex tampon from applicator. Moisten slightly to expand. Open tampon so the two fabric sheets form an "X." Fold in half across the center, arranging the layers into a triangular shape as shown. Let dry flat. Save plastic applicator.

When tampon is dry, cut notches along the edges of the bat wings.

Spray tampon with acrylic sealant and let dry. Then spray with black spray paint.

Cut about 3/4" off the tip of the plastic tampon applicator.

Bend two of the "petals" forward to form the bat ears.

Paint the bat head black with acrylic paints. Let dry.

Using small brush, add eyes, fangs and nostrils.

Cut the pipe cleaner into four one-inch pieces for "hands" and "feet." Bend the ends to form claws. Hot glue into place

Thread tampon string through head and attach head to body with hot glue. Hang by string.
